Great Media Personalities

"Some will aspire greatness and become living legends. Others will aspire but never be "remembered "in history. Only few great men and women can leave a legacy behind them. True character will speak of itself."

Allyson Hennesy Veteran presenter who died on May 7th, 2011 at a time when CNMG was discussing ways of honouring her contribution to the media field. She was known as the presenter of evening news, co hosting Community Dateline and one of the best mid morning news and features programs on television in Trinidad. Unfortunately, at age 63 this female icon died due to illness.

Keith Smith, is one of Trinidad and Tobago's impacting and influential journalist, who had a column entitled "The Keith Smith Column" and remembered as Express Newspapers Editor-at-Large. He was an exemplar to journalists in terms of writing skills, his prose, ability to relate to all people at all levels and culture and present views with fairness and balance. He died on February 8, 2011 at age 65.

Keisha David, 29 year-old former TV6 reporter and Communication Specialist was well known for taking on any challenging assignments. She interviewed passersby early in the morning on Independence Square outside Express House and had a desire to have a career in media. She died on March 8, 2012.
